Johannes BieglBio

Johannes Biegl is a touring drummer and Ableton operator based in Cologne, Germany, working both acoustically and in hybrid setups with electronics.

He has performed live with Shadmehr Aghili, Aryana Sayeed, Kasimir1441, Kayef, Anna Grey, Sogand, Navid Zardi, Olli Banjo, Kuult, Timey, Bahar and Bell, Book & Candle. His work has taken him to 15 countries — including the USA, Canada, Australia, Saudi Arabia and the UAE — and to stages such as the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Frauenfeld Open Air, and a concert hall in the middle of the Saudi desert.

For several of these artists — Kasimir1441, Navid Zardi, Sogand, Olli Banjo, Timey and Bahar — he doubles as their playback operator, building and running the entire Ableton rig. He has also appeared on television with Andreas Gabalier, Álvaro Soler and Bebe Rexha.

Johannes trained at the Berufsfachschule für Musik Nürnberg under Christoph Huber. He is an endorser for Pearl, Sabian, Vision Ears, Daddy Paul, Porter & Davies and Musikwein.
